I’ve been using the Emura frying pan for several weeks and am very happy with its performance: from fried foods to stews and stir-fries, everything cooks evenly without sticking. It’s also super easy to clean with just a soft cloth or sponge.
The PFOA-free nonstick coating is noticeable from the first use: it requires very little oil and provides healthier cooking. However, the after-sales service was disappointing: when I contacted them about a minor defect, they took a long time to respond and were not resolved promptly. In short, a good product for daily use, but customer service could be better.
Well, the truth is that the frying pan is not bad at all. Nothing sticks to me, I have even tried macaroni and melted cheese and a couple of risottos and I have cooked very comfortably. Furthermore, the base does not leave bad flavors.
I liked it a lot, I placed an order for three Emura pans and they arrived in less than a week.
They are very comfortable to cook with and nothing sticks. At the moment I don’t see any scratches when I clean them, the surface looks very smooth and resistant at the same time. Much better than the Teflon ones, which after four days the black part has already come out.
PFOA and its long-term toxicity must be taken seriously. Some frying pans with Teflon non-stick coating leave a lot of residue on food when cooking and can be dangerous over the years. I’m going to buy a pair for sure.
